A short stroll to the new office

The year of snake has taken us to a new office space, just a short distance from where we were before. After all, snakes represent potential, wisdom, opportunity and renewal!

For a small company like MSL Master, there isn’t much to move. So the move was quickly finished. Now I’m settling into a new space, writing this notice with a sense of appreciation for both the past and the present.

The new office is only a one-minute walk from the previous location, making it just as easy to find us. Even better, it’s situated right next to a subway station (Sheung Wan MTR exit A1 to be exact), which we hope will add a touch of convenience for those of you who come.  

For the past two plus years, we were content in the old office. It served us well, and I have many fond memories of the time spent there—working with many students and witnessing their improvements. That means a lot to me. It was a good space, one that suited us comfortably. But as time moves forward, so do we.  

The new office is already beginning to feel like home. Its proximity to the subway station is a small but welcome detail, and we think it might make life a little easier for students who come by subway. The short walk from our old location means they won’t need to adjust their routine much—if at all. We’re still in the same familiar neighbourhood, just with a new front door. It is a nice door, by the way. As for the size, I have to admit, it is equally small.

The only downside of this move is that the new office does not offer those capsules of coffee or tea. Fortunately, most students carry their own water bottles. And distilled water is available for everyone. 

With that little imperfection being said, I am sure that the new office will continue to give us a chance to keep doing what we love—teaching, writing, reading and having a good time!
