For a general picture, considering the following questions:

•  How has inflation changed over the past few years?

•  What measures has the Federal Reserve taken to control inflation?

•  Which sectors are most affected by inflation (e.g., housing, food, healthcare)?

•  How does the cost of living differ across various regions in the US?

For possible solutions and policies, consider the following questions:

•  Economic Plans: What are the key components of each candidate's economic plan to address inflation and cost of living?

•  Tax Policies: How do the candidates' tax policies aim to alleviate financial pressure on citizens?

•  Support for Small Businesses: What measures are proposed to support small businesses struggling with rising costs?

•  Sustainable Economic Growth: What strategies are being proposed to ensure long-term economic stability?

“What Is Your Opinion” is a platform for high level Chinese language learners to share their views and thoughts on a wide range of events which are shaping our world, and of course, to practice speaking Mandarin as well.

This course is a natural extension for students who have completed the Mandarin Express series (or equivalent) and would like to have a platform to further their study by engaging in topical discussions.

It’s best for students who are interested in world events, including but not solely about events which China’s stances influence the outcome.
