Easy-to-Read Chinese Short Stories, Book 4

This is the fourth book in the series.

Since 2021, MSL Master has invited Chinese language learners worldwide to participate in an annual event, Chinese Writing Contest. Entries are limited to using 320 Chinese characters only. 

Year after year, participants have shown that the creative space is indeed boundless. In 2024, after a public vote, the best 11 entries were included in this book.

With the rise of generative AI as the background, this book is a testament to the boundless creativity of human beings. It celebrates the imaginative minds that have pushed the boundaries of what is possible. 

This is only a small book, but it pays tribute to the dedication of all Chinese language learners and their commitment to mastering a language that is both complex and beautiful.

Each work is presented in simplified Chinese, followed by versions in pinyin and English. These works are also available in a free audiobook that can be found below.
